NTA LEVEL 4
The NTA Level 4 curriculum for the Basic Technician Certificate of Community Development consists of seventeen (17) modules that are spread over two semesters in one academic year. Each semester covers 15 weeks of learning followed by two weeks for the end of semester examinations. Therefore, the whole programme has a total of thirty four (34) weeks of study for the full-time attendance mode.

NTA LEVEL 5
The NTA Level 5 curriculum for the Technician Certificate of community development consists of sixteen (16) modules that are spread over two semesters in one academic year. Each semester covers 15 weeks of learning followed by two weeks for the end of semester examinations. Therefore, the whole programme has a total of thirty four (34) weeks of study for the full-time attendance mode.

NTA LEVEL 6
The NTA Level 6 curriculum for the Technician Certificate of community development consists of twelve (12) modules that are spread over two semesters in one academic year. Each semester covers 15 weeks of learning followed by two weeks for the end of semester examinations. Therefore, the whole programme has a total of thirty four (34) weeks of study for the full-time attendance mode.

CLASS ROOM TESTS AND SEMESTER EXAMINATION
Classroom tests are intended to measure students understanding of theoretical concepts of the subject and evaluate performance in a controlled environment during assessment. There will be a minimum of two written classroom tests for each semester and both will be supervised by tutors for duration of not less than one (1) hour.
Students shall be eligible to sit for the end of semester examination only if his or her class attendance is at least 75% of the total contact hours allocated for the respective module and should pass with at least 50% (for NTA Level 4&5) or 45% (for NTA Level 6) of the aggregate marks for the continuous Assessment.

LIBRARY SERVICES
Buhemba CDTI Library is an academic unit which is fully involved in teaching, research and consultancy. The primary role of the Library is to provide information services to support teaching, learning and research functions of the institute. These include books, journals, research reports, government and university publications.

The Library provides both print and electronic information services to its users. The services provided include: Lending Services, Document Delivery, E-mail and Internet. The library also has a repository which can be accessed by its users online.

COMPUTER ROOM SERVICE
The institute has computer room with many computers to be used by all students to do their online learning, assignments, practical training, field and research report typing and all other academic activities.
