Buhemba CDTI is located at Kinyariri village, Buhemba ward in Butiama district of Mara region. The institute is 45 kilometers from Musoma Municipal, just twenty minutes car drive from the home village of Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere (Butiama).
